First Post Ever

Well this is my first attempt at blogging. I have had some complaints about my inability to communicate the exciting going on's in my life. So here it is. Like it or love it, which ever you prefer. PS - as most of you know I get pretty long winded......

It is hard to believe that I have been living in the United States for almost four years straight. And even harder to believe that I have been home from my mission in Florida for almost a year and a half. Time has flown by. It seems like June 2007 just happened yesterday. Or that it didn't happen at all.

I took a few months off of school when I returned and worked for my dad at FeatherStone Rock Products, making stone, creating stationary and business cards for them and taking some pictures for the website. It was actually a lot of fun, but School has been a lot more fun! I hope I can do it justice and remember all of the good times correctly.

School has been great. I feel like I have been in school forever and that it is never ending. I am torn between whether I want graduate tomorrow and be finished so I never have to do homework again or if I want to stay and play forever!

School has been a roller coaster of events but I am hoping that I have gotten it under control by now. I am still majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising but I haven't declared a minor yet. One thing that BYU-Idaho does that I enjoy is that we are given the option of taking a minor or having two clusters which pretty much means you take half the amount of credits you would have for a minor and that equals a cluster. Long story short, I am almost determined to take Graphic Design and Web Design. The internet is the future!

Right now I am torn between my home roots and my current residence. The election has me confused about who I am. I don't live in Canada so I didn't vote in the Canadian Election, but I am not an Amercian citizen so I can not vote in the election here. What am I to do? So naturally I just sit back and let everyone else deal with life.

You're not missing out on anything by not voting in the U.S., it's all a matter of choosing between the lesser of two evils. and...

...ZOMG! Enjoy your undergrad!!! That's all I have to say, my undergraduate studies were by far the BEST four years (3 1/2) of my life! LOVE IT, LIVE IT, EAT IT, BREATHE IT! I'd do it all again in a heart beat!
